Im still pushing abstract landscapes for myself, letting loose of forms and shapes. In this set of three studies I deconstructed the image. I increased the saturation and then quietened it down in areas. I let the light and dark contrasts speak the story and the purples and blues convey the feeling. Suddenly, Im loving purple hues. Especially against the greens. They feel deeply restful. Just like sitting in the cool shade of a tree.
